This benign little fellow has only one mission in life: to scare away any temptation to fall back into the destructive behaviours you have decided to quit. Only condition is that you believe in its power. He can't do it on his own, you know ;)
This high quality stainless steel ring comes with two Siam Red crystals of world renowned quality as eyes. And, believe us, in real life the sparkle is much brighter than on the pictures.
On your finger
This ring is relatively easy to bend to make it fit your finger. We used water pump pliers with rounded jaws wrapped in duct tape in order not to damage the ring. The pictures show a size 9. But be aware that widening the ring is nearly impossible so if you don't feel confident about getting it right, we advise you to have a jeweler do it for you.
On your tank
Obviously we don't promote any kind of addiction and if you don't smoke, you shouldn't vape. But we do feel sympathy for those who are fighting the temptation to fall back into even more destructive behaviour. We've been there ourselves. Our gorgeous model is a Melo 4 D22.
We have applied a coating with protective and adhesive qualities on the inside of the ring. But please take note of the following:
- This ring is made to fit a 22 mm. diameter glass (pyrex). It won't stick as well to metal or frosted glass.
- Make sure the glass of your tank is absolutely clean and free of any greasy substance before you put the ring on your tank.
- We have tested the fit of every ring we sell but since the 'margin of error' is so small, you still may find the ring either too loose or too tight for your glass.
In case the ring is too loose, just add a layer of nailpolish on the inside of the ring. We advise a simple base coat, do not use UV/LED nailpolish. You may have to do this every once in a while.
In case the ring is too tight, first make sure you have the ring at the right angle when you put it on the glass. If that still doesn't work, remove some of the coating using a cotton swab and alcohol. Be careful not to overdo it ;).
